Sharon Haggerty   

 

As the anaplastologist and director at Custom Prosthetic, Ltd. in Seattle, Washington, Sharon provides facial and somatic prosthetic services. She also serves as an Affiliate Faculty Member in the Maxillofacial Prosthodontics service of the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Washington, where as part of a treatment team she provides maxillofacial prosthetics with a focus on prostheses retained by implants.

 

Sharon received a Bachelors’ degree in Fine Art and Biological Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Masters Degree in Biomedical Visualization, with an emphasis in Maxillofacial Prosthetics, from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).

 

Sharon has been a member of the American Anaplastology Association for 20 years, and prior to joining the BCCA board of director’s, served as the executive Director of the AAA for 5 years. Research interests include mold-making materials and techniques, and alternative methods of design and retention for osseointegrated implant-retained facial prostheses.
