As a dental laboratory technician in the United States Air Force Nancy became interested in maxillofacial
prosthetics early in her career. The last fifteen years of her military commitment was spent working with
maxillofacial prosthodontist, fellows and prosthodontic residents fabricating intra oral and extra oral prostheses.
She earned a bachelor of science from Southern Illinois University.
For the past ten years she has held the position as clinical Anaplastologist at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She has published several articles on material research, techniques and customized appliance. As a member of the American Society of Ocularists, she is pursuing her certification as a Board Certified Ocularist (B.C.O.)
