Education: Bachelors of Science degree in Healthcare Management from Southern Illinois University and a Masters of Science degree in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University. Robert received his specialty training from the Navy School of Dental Assisting and Technology for dental prosthetics and the Naval Post graduate dental school, Bethesda, MD for Maxillofacial Prosthetics.
From 2002 to 2008 Robert was the Chief Clinical Anaplastologists for Portsmouth Naval Medical Center, VA. From 1998 to 2002, he served as an instructor for his Alma mater in Bethesda, MD. During his tenor as an educator he was involved in a self-study project rewriting the programs’ core curriculum. He was one of the authors of the first Dental Maxillofacial Laboratory program to be approved for accreditation by Bureau of Medicine and Surgery Washington D.C. From 1991 to 1998 he served as section leader and lab manager for dental Laboratory prosthetics in Pearl Harbor, HI and Bethesda, MD. With years of specialty training in intra and extra oral appliances, Robert collaborated with many specialists to treatment plan difficult cases. He is involved in many community organizations raising public awareness for the services Anaplastologists provide and a consultant for treatment facilities in the Hampton Roads area. He is the past conference awards chair and Past President of the International Anaplastology Association (IAA).
