As a member of the National Organization for Competency Assurance (NOCA), the BCCA follows the guidelines established by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), with the intention of applying  for accreditation through the NCCA. The NCCA is the accrediting body of NOCA. These two organizations are recognized leaders in setting quality standards for credentialing organizations to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of the public.
